I feel like I'm dreaming that I knit myself a sweater. After all, I'm notorious for starting a knitting project and never finishing. But I actually finished something! I still can't believe it! I've known how to knit for a really long time because Mom has always been such a big knitter. The problem with me and knitting is my lack of motivation. For some reason I felt motivated to finish this sweater, maybe it's because I saw a lady wearing it at Tolt and thought it was so cute I had to have one for myself.
This is the Lila Sweater by Carrie Bostick Hoge. I used Peace Fleece Pyho Mnpa (70% merino, 30% mohair), the yarn has these amazing glints of green in it that bring some depth to the standard grey. I love that the sweater hangs a little shorter, I think it's just perfect. Now if only spring could come a little bit slower so I can wear this before it gets too warm!
