Simple Sweats

I ordered this pant pattern off of Vogue Patterns during a killer sale (they're the Misses' Pants). My hope was to create a modern sweat pant that I'm seeing all over departments stores these days. When I first pulled out the pattern it seemed really really big, even for the extra small. Measuring it against a different pair of sweats my worry continued. I ended up taking about an inch out of the front and back pattern so 4 inches all together! The result was a pair of sweats so close to being right, but they were just too tight in the crotch area. I love how the legs fit, and the waist, so I need to tweak the pattern a little bit more to get it just right. But these will work for now. The fabric is a super soft light weight jersey that I found at the cutest fabric store in Fremont, District Fabric.
