Wedding Hand Towels

This is turning into the year of the hand made wedding gifts - this one for my cousin's son Corey and his new wife Mariah - a couple of Mitered Ballband Hand Towels plus some mitered disch clothes.

Thanks to Mom I still have a big stash of Peaches 'n Cream cotton yarn and am happy to keep the it in the family.  Buttons from the stash could have come from one of many sources.  I love making this wrapped button shank.

The hand towels were finished on the airplane on the way to Montana.  Luckily Adi took some photos then - we completely forgot to document the whole finished product once we were in Montana.

Remember the classic hanging hand towels made from a terry cloth towel cut in half with a crocheted top.  Always with Red Heart acrylic?  We received nearly a lifetime supply when we were married.

Anchor button on the back. Loving the cream and white.
